Ben Lewis Doherty: Doc Martin's Plus One, a gay journalist, and the son of a gay gangster. All by age ten. With Smith dick and Pelphrey penis

I've been watching Best Medicine (2026), about a curmudgeonly doctor in small-town Maine, where there are at least three gay characters: Greg and George, who run the only restaurant in town; and sarcastic high school student Liam.  But could there be four?  How about 10-year old Peter Cronk, played by Ben Lewis Doherty?

Kids are usually presented as straight by default, to promote the myth that boys are born longing for feminine smiles, and "turn" gay as as teenagers or adults.  But you never know.

Peter appeared in eight episodes in Season 1, and displays queer codes in most:

Episode 5: He wants to stay after class after to help teacher Louisa, and the other kids make fun of him, thinking that he has a crush on her.  He denies it; he's actually interested in the astronomy presentation she's preparing.  A denial of heterosexual interest.

Later he tries to "fit in" by putting a whole apple in his mouth, and can't get it back out again.  Doc Martin cuts it out, and tells him don't bother trying to fit in, just be yourself. The oral fixation and the "be yourself."

Episode 7: On Halloween, the townsfolk put on a haunted house called the Blood Factory.  Peter hates it: he gets so scared that he wets his bed.  Doc Martin suggests that he face his fears, so he dresses as a vampire. And bonds with a buddy.

Episode 8: Peter is rather swishy as he criticizes Elaine's true crime podcast. (Femme behavior).

Afterwards, her cameraman Al (Carter Shimp, right) calls her his girlfriend, and she shoots him down: "We're frisky friends, that's all."  Hurt, he quits.

"What's a frisky friend?" Peter asks.  Lack of awareness of hetero-romance terminology.

Episode 10: Trying to spend time with Doc Martin, Peter comes in every day with invented symptoms, and invites himself along on his birdwatching date with Louisa.  Are you looking for a father figure, or do you have a little crush on the Doc?

Later, he complains of a stomach ache, but Doc Martin thinks he's faking -- until the pain spreads to his shoulder, and his spleen ruptures!  Tense scenes in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Episode 12: Peter asks Doc Martin to come to his school presentation on Norway, since his mom works and his dad doesn't care about him. Doc Martin says he's too busy, but shows up anyway.  Peter is overjoyed, and hugs him.  More crush potential.

Episode 13: Peter is the ring bearer at the wedding of Greg and George. The teenagers attend the weddding, but he's the only child, suggesting a special affinity with the gay guys.

At the reception, he sits at Doc Martin's table as if he's the Doc's Plus One.

It's probably not canonical, but it's enough to check out the other work of the 11-year old actor.

Ben Lewis Doherty lives in Massachusetts, where he began modeling and acting at age six.  His first on-screen role was in the short Weighted (2020): Macauley (Hudson Koonce) longs for the times when he lifted weights with his dad, before MS took its toll, so he strives for one last bench press.  Ben plays the young Macauley, and the cast includes bodybuilders George Sandalakis (left), Ismail Bronson, and David Arquilla(below).

Nice company for your first acting role, kid.

Next Ben appeared in Haze (2024): Joe, a young journalist (Cole Dolman),  returns home after rehab, uncovers the secrets of the town's psychiatric center, and gets a boyfriend (Brian J. Smith, nude after the break).  Ben plays the young Joe.

A gay character, already!  Things are looking good for you, buddy.  Plus you're already buddying up to hot guys like Cameron Matheson.

Daniel Doheny: Alex Strange Gay, a guy chasing a penis, a n*de breeder. With some karaoke and an Irish Short Guy

When nude photos of Daniel Doheny in Breeders appeared online, I figured that he was starring in the tv series about parents who hate their kids.  No, that series aired from 2020 to 2023, and this Breeders is from 2026.

Since breeder is gay slang for heterosexual, could it be a series about a gay guy trapped in the straight world?

No, it's a horror thriller about a straight guy who is kidnapped due to his superior genetic material and told to impregnate a lot of women. He refuses to do the act because of his girlfriend back home, so they force him to submit semen samples instead.

A hung muscleman.  I could see how...

Wait -- this is Daniel Doheny.   Cute, but he hasn't been to the gym lately, and his cock is on the small side.  I guess that's the point: he's an unlikely candidate.  Maybe they grabbed the wrong guy?

Further research reveals that Daniel is best known for Alex Strangelove (2018): he plays a high schooler who doesn't realize that he's gay until his girlfriend figures it out and finds him a boyfriend.

I stayed far away from that movie, offended by the low-scale homophobia of the title.  Not as bad as "an abomination," but I still don' t like gay sex being slurred as "strange." Why didn't they just come out and title it Alex Gay People Are Deviant?

So Danny Boy is going into this profile with two strikes against him, to use a hetero metaphor.

Question #1: Any other strange guy roles?

Daniel Doheny (the Anglicized form of the Irish Ó Dubhchonna) was born in Vancouver in 1997, and attended Langara College, class of 2012.  His  on-screen acting career begins in 2012, with some shorts, a guest spot on Supernatural, and Adventures in Public School (2017).  He plays Liam Heap (really?), a homeschooled boy who braves a public high school and meets The Girl of His Dreams.

Looks like we get a shirtless shot of Andrew Herr, who would go on to play a "he might be strange" straight dude on Letterkenny.

Next came Alex Gay Sex is Weird (2018) and The Package (2018): Five friends (Danny, Luke Spencer Roberts, Eduardo Franco, and two girls) go on a camping trip, when Eduardo's character accidentally gets his cock cut off.    It gets a lot of damage in the "race against time" to the hospital, including a scene where one of the guys has to suck snake venom out of it. Like giving a blow job, Can you believe that strange guys do that, har har?

This isn't the cock in question. It belongs to Alexander Calvert, who played Chad.

My 18 favorite cute/cuddly and hot/hung amateurs: eight-inch Hesse, monster cock Ben, comic book brothers, Codi, a Pooth, and Dane's polar plunge

I usually post profiles of actors, but occasionally I stumble upon a singer, athlete, or internet celebrity who is too cute/cuddly or hot/hung to pass up.  Being gay helps.  These are my 18 favorite non-actors, "amateurs" or "civilians."   The bodybuilders have their own list.

Most of the last names are omitted, or are pseudonyms to protect their privacy.

1. Neo and Swan, French youtube, comic book, and tv star brothers. With celebrity scandal, a gay kid, and nude dudes from Les Eyzies

2. Matthew Beem hitchhikes naked, takes a polar plunge, builds secret rooms to spy on his internet star friends. With four of their d*cks

4. Dane's Polar Plunge: A 365 day Lake Tahoe Challenge. With Scott Gaffney, Danish dicks, and nude guys at Notre Dame

5. Graham Martillo: Ritzy private school boy plays lacrosse, hugs his boyfriend, takes his shirt off, buys a Porsche. With nude Newport dudes

6. Gage Beule
: South Dakota wrestler poses in singlets a lot, posts nothing else. But they are really nice singlets, plus nude guys named Gage.

8.
Melvin Mellblom: Sad Swedish-Thai model with muscles, a constantly changing hair color, and a backside. With Peebles and Algerian d*cks

"Eternally Yours": Heteronormative vampire family, with some gay actors, Parker's backside, Jaren's dick, and Hiller's husband.

True Blood, on HBO (2008-14), had some gay vampires among the undead coming "out of the coffin.

What We Do In the Shadows (2019-24), on "fearless" FX, featured a group of vampire housemates, most of them queer: "Some of my wives were men, and some were women."

But Eternally Yours (2026), on CBS, the stodgy old people's network, is entirely heteronormative.  But some of the guys are cute, and have nude photos online, so I'll review it anyway.

The three couples:

Couple #1. Charles (Ed Weeks, left) and Liz have been a married middle-aged vampire couple for 500 years and dislike each other, but the Council of Elders forbids divorce.

Couple #2: Max (Jaren Lewiston) and Emma, Charles and Liz's daughter.  They turned her when she was child dying of diphteria 200 years ago. Now a young adult, she started dating Max (Jaren Lewiston).  When he came to meet the parents, he was accidently hit by a marble bust, so Dad turned him to prevent him from dying.  Not to worry, he enjoys learning about vampire culture and being part of the "coven."

Jaren Lewison is a 5'7" Short Guy, and apparently gay in real life.

Left: Reputedly Jaren's junk.

Couple #3: Jesse (the eternally shirtless Parker Young) and his elderly human wife.  Jesse was turned 150 years ago.  He got married to a human woman, but didn't turn her, so she is now elderly, and must never learn about the existence of vampires.  Doesn't she wonder why her husband is still young, and her sons still teenagers?  Or why they drink blood at every meal?
