He never gets a girlfriend, but buddy-bonds with guys a lot.

He's got several acting credits on the IMDB, notably young Gary in Keenan: Keenan Thompson plays the host of a morning show in Atlanta, with a dead wife that he's grieving (why is it always a dead wife?). His Saturday Night Live costar Chris Redd plays Gary, his brother and manager.
In Episode 2, Keenan thinks that his dead wife had an affair with a guy named Ron (Vincent Rodriguez III), so he confronts him. But Ron turns out to be gay and "happily married" (it's Vincent Rodriguez III, so what do you expect?)
