The 18 biggest, hottest, or most surprising cocks of the handsome/hung actors, from the Nip/Tuck fratboy to the Headless Ghost.
The top 18 gay-positive science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal shows: reincarnated Thai guys, a time-traveling doctor, a sandman, and Will Robinson
Just stay down there for a minute, Spock Baby. I'm almost done.
Ever since I was a kid, 99% of my television viewing has consisted of either comedies or science fiction/fantasy. Because if there's no ghosts, zombies, curses, vampires, werewolves, spaceships, or strange new worlds, why bother?
Here are the top gay-positive science fiction/fantasy shows that I've reviewed here, with prominent gay characters or gay subtexts. Usually there are pecs and penises, too.
1. Khemjira: Thai guy falls in love with his shaman. With demons, reincarnation, spirits, several gay couples, and real Thai culture. Everything I like in one intriguing package.
2. Surreal Estate: A real estate agent and his scoobies clear houses of cursed, vituperative spirits. With a gay male couple.
3. True Blood: Vampires come "out of the coffin" in rural Lousiana, along with shapeshifters, werewolves (Joe Manganiello, left), and other paranormals. Many of whom are naked. With several prominent gay characters.
4. Dead Boy Detectives: Dead teenagers, one gay and the other bi, solve afterlife mysteries.
5. Ghosts (American version; I didn't like the British): The mansion is haunted by a gaggle of wacky ghosts, including a very muscular Viking, a hippie, a pantsless 1990s stock broker, and a gay Revolutionary War soldier.
6. School Spirits. This time the ghosts are trapped in the high school, where the gay guy's romance is treated as the exact equal of the hetero-romance.
7. Doctor Who. The 2010-2022 series had a lot of LGBT representation, with gay walk ons and guest stars. including John Barrowman (left) as a pansexual rogue. But I didn't like the 2023-25 series, where they made the Doctor gay, even gave him a momentary boyfriend, only to turn him straight.
8. Solar Opposites. In spite of fans saying "They can't be gay! They're aliens!", the space explorers shipwrecked on Earth developed into a loving couple And check out the strong gay subtext episode with Skyler Gisondo and Kieran Culkin.
9. Ghost Island: An "Are You Afraid of the Dark" miniseries with a gay romance and a lot of fan disputes about "was it a date?"
More after the break. Caution: Explicit.
Khemjira: A Thai shaman and his students find boyfriends, with a "Power Ranger" demon, muscular ghosts, magic bees, a play, and penises
Harrison Houde: It's Bowie! Plus gay-adjacent tv, synth-wave music, and a pink Ford. With Diego, Harrison butts, and Nemo d*ck
School Spirits features a high school girl named Maddie Near, who becomes a "ghost" when her spirit is dislocated from her body. In Episode 2.3 (2025), we meet Diego (Zack Calderon), the older brother of Maddie's friend, n the best possible way -- wearing just a towel.
Well, maybe not the absolute best possible way...
And we learn that Maddie's body is now occupied by Janet, the ghost of a high school girl who died in 1958. She goes on the run, bringing a satchel-full of stolen cash. When she stops for supplies, we met Carl (Harrison Houde), a clerk at the superstore. He has long hair and femme multicolored bracelets, pinging my gaydar. And he's 5'5".
Sorry, Zack.
You may remember Harrison Houde from Some Assembly Required (2014-16), the Canadian teencom about a boy (Kolton Stewart) who sues his way into owning a toy company, Harrison plays Bowie, his cute, quirky best bud, who is put in charge of the Jokes and Pranks Division. (He's pictured with Dylan Playfair as the dimwitted hunk.)
Yani Xander: Headless ghost, Speechless body double, Telugu cop, hottest guy on the planet has a boyfriend and a tree-trunk sized cock
The Top 12 Hunks of "School Spirits," living or not. A surprising number have posted dick pics.
School Spirits (2023-) stars Peyton List as Maddie Near, a high school student who suddenly finds herself wandering among the ghosts of other students (and one faculty member) who died at Split River High. They have more lax rules than the ghosts of Ghosts: they can eat, change clothes, read books, and manipulate objects (although everything resets); but they cannot leave school property, and they cannot communicate with the living. Except Maddie can. Her ghost and living friends work together to solve the mystery of her disappearance. Spoiler alert: She's not really dead.
There's some gay representation, and the beefcake quotient is very high. Here are the top twelve hunks (with their dicks after the break):
1. Kristian Ventura as Simon, who had an unrequited crush on Maddie, and now can see and talk to her. He's one of the main suspects in her disappearance.
2. Josh Zuckerman as Mr. Martin, a chemistry teacher who died in a lab explosion in 1968. He runs an Afterlife Support Group, and gives the students assignments that supposedly will help them move on to the afterlife. But he has a lot of secrets.
3. Nick Pugliese, top photo and left, as Charley, who died of a peanut allergy in the 1990s, just after a fight with his boyfriend (who is now a teacher at the school, so Maddie asks Simon to arrange an apology).
4. Miles Elliot as Yuri, who died in the 1970s. In order to avoid Mr. Martin's activities, he pretended to be cycling (only semi conscious, repeating the same action over and over); but in Season 2 he joins the gang, and starts dating Charley.
5. Zack Calderon (left) as Diego Herrera, the older brother of Maddie's living friend Nicole.
6. Milo Mannheim as Wally Clark, who died at a football game in the 1980s (the stadium is named after him). He insists that the gang watch only sports movies, and continues to work out, leading one to conclude that ghosts have functioning cardiovascular systems. In Season 2, Maddie and Wally start dating.

"Ghosts," Episode 3.10: A gay wedding, a gay performer, a vengeful Puritan, a naked Viking, and a lot of plot complications
In the British version of Ghosts (2019-23), the gay ghost is closeted, with a "disgraceful secret" that he never reveals to his housemates. I heard that the American version (2021-25) was better at gay representation, so I watched Episode 3.10, "Isaac's Wedding"
The Premise: Sam (a woman) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) inherit a house filled with the ghosts of people who have died there or nearby, and for some reason can't move on to the afterlife. Since she was dead for a few minutes after an accident, Sam can see and hear them, but Jay can't.
Nigel (John Hartman, right), a British soldier who died during the Revolutionary War, has been in a relationship with Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones, left), the Continental soldier who he killed (by accident)). They are going to get married today, but Isaac is worried about his ongoing fantasy about Chris, the adult performer hired for his bachelor party (the humans told him that he was performing for an empty room).
Isaac asks Sassapis (Roman Zaragosa), a Native American who died in the 16th century, about his attraction to the stripper. Sassapis reassures him that it's just cold feet.
The DJ hired to play at the wedding arrives -- and to everyone's surprise, it's Chris (Deniz Akdeniz)! He's gay, he hates the show Hamilton, and he has no sense of smell -- all points in his favor. When he eats crab and has an allergic reaction, Isaac secretly wishes that he will die, so they can date -- but he survives.
Meanwhile Peter (Richie Moriarty), a 1980s scout leader who accidentally shot an arrow through his neck, has discovered that he can leave the house by poltergeisting family members, so he follows his descendants to a Caribbean vacation, and meets a female ghost from his time period. They have a passionate affair, but then he starts to evaporate.
Back at the house, the wedding begins, with Sassapis officiating. As Nigel and Issac exchange vows, Peter returns from the Caribbean, finds that he is whole again, and interrupts with his shout of jubiliation. He tells the story of his trip and the intensity of his love, and Isaac realizes that there's something missing in his relationship with Nigel. He backs out at the last minute.
Not noticing, lounge singer Alberta, who was poisoned during the Prohibition Era, starts singing "At Last" anyway. Nigel runs off crying.
Later, Isaac's housemates agree with his decision. He's 300 years old, and he's been out for only a few years, so he shouldn't rush into a relationship right away. He needs time to grow.

Josh Zuckerman: The teenage Faust saves Christmas twice, plays nebbishes and sinister ghosts. With his butt and Nick's dick
So Nick and his mischievous 14-year old nephew Danny (Josh Zuckerman) must deliver all of the presents and subdue the gangsters.
It differs from the standard "saving Christmas" plot in the real peril, and in Nick and Danny, who move from stereotyped uncle and nephew to classic 1930s Adventure Boy and adult companion.
Nope. Next he starred in I was a Teenage Faust (2002), about a 15-year old boy (Josh) who sells his soul to the devil in order to win The Girl of His Dreams. Heterosexist tripe.
I didn't have the stomach to see Josh in anything else for a few years, but evidently he starred with Ben Affleck in Surviving Christmas (2004): a rich dude pays a family to pretend to be his at Christmastime, and develops real feelings for them, of course.
He had a recurring role on Kyle XY (2008-09) , starring Matt Dallas as a teenage boy who appears out of nowhere with no memory and no belly button. I think he's a clone or alien or something. Josh plays a nebbish with a crush on his adopted sister. Eventually he wins her.
The s*x comedy S*x Drive (2008) is all shot through with homophobia and gay stereotypes. It's got Seth Green in it, so you know there's going to be trouble. Ian (Josh) goes on a road trip to Chattanooga to win the Girl of His Dreams, Ms. Tasty (her stage name). He borrows the car from his "fag" and "homo"-spouting brother Rex (James Marsden):
When Ian reaches Chattanooga, Rex appears and refuses to let him get with the girl. So he pretends to be gay, and Rex changes his mind: getting with a girl could cure him! In the end Ian marries The Girl, and Rex is revealed to be gay (but he doesn't get a boyfriend).
"Surreal Estate," Episode 1.1: Realtor and his scoobies investigate haunted houses, with gay characters and a lot of n*de Matt Whites
Surreal Estate (2021-23), on Hulu, appeared on Reddit about shows with "normalized" LGBT characters, not struggling to come out or fighting homophobia. None of the episode synopses suggest gay characters, and the icon shows a man and a woman, but here goes, Episode 1.1
Scene 1: Night. A man in a 1940s detective costume walks through a thunderstorm to a creepy house. The sign says "For Sale by Owner."
Inside, it's too dark to see much, but a woman in a bathrobe seems to be reading an antique book on human anatomy. She gets scared when the surgeon in a photograph seems to be grinning evilly at her. Suddenly the room catches on fire (at least we can see something now). She runs outside, but runs into the Old Fashioned Man.
Psych! He's not the ghost of a 1940s detective, he just dresses like one: Luke Roman (Tim Rozon of Schitt's Creek), interested in the house. So call in advance?
She hugs him: "The house wants to kill me!" That's every home owner's complaint, girl.
He can help with that. They gaze into each other's eyes. I'll be they start dating, and she joins the paranormal real estate team.
Scene 2: At Shirley's Diner, still too dark to see much, Homeowner Megan, says that her fiancé is coming to pick her up. Don't you hate it when they mention a boyfriend halfway through the date?
Luke shows her a video about his company, SMEP, Specialists in Metaphysically-Engaged Properties, those with a market value depreciation due a tragedy occuring there. Sometimes they are haunted, sometimes not, but the rumor makes it lose 37% of its market value and takes 317% longer to sell.
Megan's swishy boyfriend Brock (Matt White) flounces in with a teeth-click, a flamboyant wave of his umbrella, and a "What up, Girlfriend?" Shouldn't be too hard to convince him to be true to himself, so you can have Megan for yourself.
Matt White has nine acting credits on IMDB, including six shorts, and three walk-ons. This may not be the right one, but there are lots of other Matt Whites to choose from: a baseball player, a football player, an artist, a musician, a comedian, and a billionaire.
Left: Matt White d*ck
Scene 3: At the agency, Luke tells his scoobies, two men and a woman, about the case. Homeowner Megan is a medical student who inherited the haunted house from her grandfather. Swishy boyfriend lives with her (in his own room, I assume).
On to otheir other case, a house with a poltergeist. It came out clean: no entities. But Rita, the Evil Realtor who hired them, insists that things were flying around. Nobody wants to confront her because she's so evil, so they get the New Girl to do it: a ringer who got $10 million in sales at her last agency.
Introductions:
Father Phil (Adam Korson, right), a defrocked priest with nice biceps, does the background checks and due diligence.
