Ok, I got the name wrong. He's Spencer Medick, a baseball player. It never occured to me that sports players might be classified as celebrities, but I guess some people follow them.
Currently he is a pitching coach for the New York Yankees
The IMDB lists only one role: a Passerby on a 2011 episode of Neighbours. So he must a theatrical actor.
