Ok, I got the name wrong. He's Spencer Medick, a baseball player. It never occured to me that sports players might be classified as celebrities, but I guess some people follow them.
Currently he is a pitching coach for the New York Yankees
His Instagram is private, he is not on Facebook, and his X (as Smedick, har har) just has posts about baseball, plus one shirtless pic. So I don't know whether Spencer is gay or not. Probably not: Outsports lists only 14 major and minor league players who are out, or who came out after their career ended.
